About Us
Russell Horn, president of River Valley Heat & Air, Inc. is a Fort Smith native having graduated from Northside High School and attended Westark ( now University of Arkansas at Fort Smith).
Russell moved to Dallas, Texas where he was employed as a commercial high-rise chief building maintenance engineer. While in Dallas, Russell and his wife established RK Construction Services, Inc. Russell and his wife of 22 years, Kim, relocated to Greenwood, Arkansas to raise their family and be closer to relatives in Fort Smith and the surrounding area. After moving to Greenwood, Russell and his cousin, Bobby Horn established River Valley Heat & Air, Inc. Bobby is a native of Fort smith also and has 16 years experience in the commercial and residential heating and air conditioning industry. With this combined experience River Valley Heat & Air, Inc. is qualified to properly handle work in new construction, as well as service and maintain all types of existing heat and air equipment.

Repairs:
Service calls are FREE with paid repairs or equipment replacement. Our service call rate is $70 an hour and we DO NOT charge a 2 hour minimum like many of our competitors. We diagnose the problems in an hour or less 99% of the time.
Equipment Installation
Our business is an authorized dealer of Rheem™ and York™ equipment & parts. Additionally, we sell & service Amana™, Goodman™, Carrier, RUUD, HEIL and Trane™ heating and cooling equipment as well as parts for almost any other brand of equipment. Each Rheem™, York, ™Amana™ or Goodman™ system comes with a manufacturer's warranty for residential equipment that features a FREE 5-year parts agreement and with online registration you get a FREE 10 year parts agreement.
Heating Services
We offer the sales, service, and installation of furnaces, heat pumps, and electric strip heaters.
Ductwork
Our staff does complete installations for new construction, existing homes or businesses, including retrofitting, repairing & the removal of old systems.
Preventative Maintenance
We offer preventative maintenance agreements that are custom-made for each customer. Our programs include but not limited to the following: refrigerant pressure checks, coil cleaning, filter changes, electrical components, furnace burners & gas valves, as well as T-stat testing, control testing and visual ductwork inspections.
